Tomoo wasn't all that sure as to what he thought of the house, their being there ('their' in the sense that he was clearly aware of the fact he wasn't alone in his apparent abduction, but not in the sense that they were a de facto group as a result of it). Not only could they not leave, there also, thus far, appeared to be no sign of the people who had brought them here. He couldn't help wonder just where they were; the building didn't resemble any he had seen in Tokyo but then, he didn't claim to be an expert on all (or even any) areas of the city in such detail. There was the possibility they were on the outskirts of Tokyo (which would lend itself well to the fact that he couldn't hear any traffic coming from outside the windows) or even, had been transported to a more rural area of Japan. Perhaps somewhere more in the mountains. At this point, Tomoo wasn't sure he wanted to guess.
It was frustrating; if he had happened earlier, he would have been irritated, for sure, but he wasn't sure that he would have been quite as irritated. Being here, now, meant that there was so much that could go wrong. He knew it was only a matter of time until Serizawa (and Shiori) realised that 'Manaka Tomoo' was still alive and who he was (or rather, who he wasn't). His not being at his office or his apartment now would only move events forward in a manner he hadn't envisaged, hadn't been able to plan for and wouldn't be able to have any control over. His disappearance would lead to questions being asked and ultimately, his apartment being searched for clues, the entirety of his carefully laid plans falling apart because of one problem.
Tomoo came to a stop outside of a door, his hand resting on the handle. At least, he reasoned, events had progressed far enough that perhaps now Serizawa had some chance of understanding what had happened eleven years prior, what the past was capable of doing and what the present still could and how a bending of the truth can lead to more hurt than one could imagine. Turning the handle and pausing when he heard the soft 'click' of the latch slipping, Tomoo pushed the door open slowly, pleased for small blessings such as an apparently well oiled door, and stepped inside, hand travelling to one side of the door frame searching for a light switch in the (possibly vain) hope that it might work.
The biggest issue Tomoo had with events prior to 'this' was Yamano. The man was a coward and a fool and Tomoo cringed when he thought of what he might do once it was evident 'Ryou Naruse' had disappeared.
Dropping his hand back to his side as light filled the room, Tomoo stood awkwardly in the door frame, staring around the room with a lacklustre interest. The light was casting various shadows about the room and whilst he would never say he was afraid of the dark (there were far worse things one should be afraid of, and Tomoo would readily admit to that), the shadows in and around this room (and the rooms he'd been in previous) did succeed in unnerving him, and he couldn't help but tense at the sudden sound of movement, turning towards where he believed the sound originated.
