Alphonse smiled a bit to Patchouli again, and nodded. "You're welcome. It's no trouble, so..." he still sensed that she was a little bit awkward about all of this, but he thought that was normal. In return, he just did his best to be as genuine and warm as he possibly could, in order to help make up for that, for her.

He was also still trying to figure out what, exactly, to tell her about the house, while he walked her to the library; it wasn't exactly far from the entrance, either, so he didn't have a lot of time to think on it, but...

A little bit awkward? Patchouli was feeling very awkward still, even after how kind Alphonse had been to her. She just wasn't used to this sort of thing at all -- having friends? How strange... Even Marisa... She smiled a little, though, and tried to push all that out of her head. She was more curious about what was so odd about this mansion. Sure, it was a bit ugly...

"Um...here it is." Alphonse said, still a bit awkward himself, nodding to the door before moving to actually open it (and hold it open, of course) for the girl with him. He hesitated, before speaking again, intending to stay a little bit longer; there was no way he was going to leave her without any knowledge of the house, after all. "So I guess I should try to explain things, then..."
