I perused the FAQ's and found where to accept community invitations. I just tried to put that link in a comment, but it said this community won't let me post the link.
Go to FAQ 101: How do I join a community. On the bottom third of the answer it says You can accept or decline a community invitation at the Manage Community Invitations page. The phrase Manage Community Invitations is a hyperlink that you can click to get to the link.
