I might have forgot to mention on lj that there's a new member of our little family: Felix. He's a Cinnamon Greencheeked Conure (a colour variation of the normal Greencheeked Conure). They're a bit like Jack Russel Terriers: a big parrot in a small body.

Back again, after having spent a week in Scotland. Four nights along Loch Ness (two in Fort Augustus and two in Drumnadrochit) and two in Edinburgh. And one night in Glasgow, because we got there too late to continue the journey. Gotta love British Actors
We're seeing Jude Law as Hamlet in a few weeks. Imagine my surprise when I found out that he is joined by Mister Gibbs (from PotC) as Claudius, Harriet Jones (from Doctor Who) as Gertrude, and Tish, Martha's sister (also from Doctor Who), as Ophelia. emotionality
I'm a bit overemotional at the moment - period pains - so when I see sad things, I cry. Perfectly natural, and a passing phase. But why do three of the series I'm into at the moment have to have funerals in their latest episodes? And then a fanfic. WHY? What is this, a conspiracy? -

I ordered the computer at one o'clock yesterday afternoon. 5.20 pm I got an email saying it had dispatched. 7 am today there was a knock on the door.
Guess what?
It was my computer!!!
Only, I don't have time to do anything with it at the moment. Will have to wait... I've unpacked it and looked at it though, and it is so pretty. SO PRETTY.
