[Amelia only feels a bit better about things after making sure Jilly sleeps through the night. It's not like she's been able to actually fix anything, after all. But maybe the rest will have done her friend some good.
What little optimism Amelia has been working up, however, immediately vanishes when she comes out of the door. Of course she recognizes Legato instantly, and she stops as she tries to decide what to do. In the end, however, there's not much choice. Going back inside would lead him to Jilly, and there's no chance she's letting that happen.
So she walks on, fully intending to attempt to just pass him by. Not that Legato will likely let her, but so long as there's a chance, it's worth the attempt.]
[Amelia stops again as soon as Legato speaks--better than than give him the opportunity to make her stop. She sighs heavily, not at all impressed by his choice of words--as if they were actually friends, and she should say hello out of politeness.
She turns to the side, just enough to see him. Amelia's hand is on her gun, although she knows it won't matter if he wants to stop her from using it. Still, that won't keep her from trying should she feel the need.]
