Anyone on here who talks to me semi-frequently knows that I haven't been eating mammals or birds lately. The only meat I have eaten in the past month and a half or so is fish, and lots of it. My grandpa used to have cows like that in Davison. He sold most of his beef to a little butcher shop downtown Davison that had a big cow on the roof. Unfortunately, these little shops aren't common anymore. Good luck with your search.

BTW, don't ever bite into one of those fish oil pills. You will smell rank for days!

Of all the stupid things to globalize, the food industry was the stupidest. "Der... I'm a stupid global capitalist prick!... lets make sure that everyone's meal travels and average of 1500 miles before they eat it! that when when the fossil fuels become exensive food will be unaffordable to all but the most rich!"

Local food markets need to come back in a big way or we are all fucked hard.

A lot of fish that you find in markets are actually from fish farms. Be wary of that. I know Meijer used to have commercials saying they had fresh fish flown in daily but that wasn't true; my dad took three days to haul it in from NYC, and not all of that were actually fish from the ocean. Near the ocean, yes. Not quiiiiite from it, though.

Do you not eat eggs and dairy, too? 'Cause I'm sure those are chock full of badness as well. Anyway, I was just asking because my grandpa has a goat ranch and he's got some chickens as well. If you don't like eating store bought eggs, let me know and I can give you some eggs from my grandpa's place. They're pretty much just eat corn and the ocassional peck of alfalfa and bugs but they're not full of pesticides or growth hormones. Good eating.

I would LOVE to get some amazing eggies from your grandpas farm.

I do still eat eggs, and i know they are terrible. I need to phase those out of the diet as well.

I dont really do much dairy exept cheese, but there is no way i can stop eating cheese. I'll have to start shopping at dales more... but that shit is expensive... one thing at a time though.
