This fandom has definitely spoiled me into believing that everything will have a happy ending (or most things because this is TSN, it was made for fixit!fic) but ughhh this hurt so good.

Loved every second of it.

Thank you! I know what you mean about the fixit - we have the hurting and falling apart taking place in the movie, post-canon it's just hard to imagine how it could possibly get any worse instead of better. And my beta has told me she will harass me until I write a fixit sequel, but that might take a while.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment, I'm glad you enjoyed it despite or because of the hurt!

I know! I hate it when somewhere down the line they make up and Eduardo drops everything and moves to Palo Alto, because he is sad and lonely and has only been waiting for a sign from Mark the whole time and the life he has built for himself doesn't matter one iota in the face of Mark. It's a personal pet peeve of mine. I get that it's easier for Eduardo to move business and come from Singapore to California, but in most fics it's just assumed naturally, of course Eduardo will give up everything to get back together with Mark, because love is more important than being his own man and free and indepentent and doing his own thing. No one ever so much as twitches or looks vaguely uncomfortable when they tell Eduardo to make up his mind and move because Mark is miserable with this long-distance relationship and Eduardo's visits are not enough. Heck, most of the time it never even occurs to anyone that Mark could get up his spoilt lazy programmer ass and do some visiting himself (it's not like he can't afford it). Go Eduardo for telling ( ... )

You should be aware that this fic is amazing and actually made me super homesick because I grew up near the sea and UGH.

I only just saw this comment due to notification fail so you'll probably never read this reply, but, aww, thank you, anon, I'm glad you liked the fic, and sorry about the homesickness! I grew up near a lake myself, not quite the same, but enough to develop a thing for water.
