I'm glad you had the (not) gonads actually post the NC-17. (The fandom's too flippant with the rating... people forget that it takes guts to actually post a sex scene if you don't set out as a smut-writer. I mean... I tried it once, and ended up with a bunch of ellipses where the porn went because I couldn't even write it. ^_^) Anyway... great chapter. The word choice fit perfectly with the emotions behind everything. Despite the repetition of "(it)" in reference to him, it seems like Wrath is almost becoming... well, not more human, but at least less soulless. Like maybe there's a echo of Hughes still there that isn't just a physical resemblance. (Especially when it switches once to "Wrath (Maes)") It's creeping me out, I can only imagine how much trouble it's causing for Roy. (-; I love how I still have no idea how this will resolve. You'll have to pardon me, I think in the middle of this comment my brain forgot it wasn't in class.

Far too true. I mean, there was going to be a sex scene in one of my older stories, but I chickened out and cut what little of it I had, and I'm still quite happy that I did that.

Glad that it worked, however! I was kind of twitchy about writing about it and stuff.

I love how I still have no idea how this will resolve.

It's nearing the end. Only like three more chapters and an epilogue. :) So you shall see soon enough.
