^__^ This was really good. I like Roy's stream of consciousness. The only suggestion I'd have would be that with that kind of stream-of-consciousness not-focus, it'd be good to have a nice, richly-detailed anchoring scenelet in there somewhere. If I were writing it, it would have been the sex scene, but a different one, like the concert, would have worked just as well. Without one, the reader might get a sort of impression of it being a "day in the life" sort of fic, where you're not putting much importance on anything in particular that happened.

But I like your Roy/Hughes dynamic. It works very well, and is how I always see them, if I think about them as a pair.

To a degree it was meant to be a bit "day in the life", and to a degree it was meant to be a "stream of consciousness". Mostly I was trying to imitate Lost in Translation's style/mood. ;)

::loves:: I'm a sucker for au's and hughes/roy, and so I'm very happy ^^ It was a lovely fic, I like all of the juxtoposition between 'home' and tokyo and I liked how Roy seemed so out of it all of the time. Poor baby.

I would be doing the fangirl squealing, if I didn't hate fangirls.

But I do love HughesxRoy (or vice versa), as it's one of my most canon pairings and most favorite to roleplay.

From what I see you write, you'd be a great roleplayer -if you don't do it already. This made me smile.
