Whoa. Thank you so much. I'm happy you got different reactions to them, because I hate repeating myself (which is why I never write sequels).

Well, it does turn out badly, but that means angst! And angst is always fun. :p

And the banner was more, "YAY pretty!" than any attempt to make it legit, but I'm glad you liked it. ;)

LJ ate my post earlier D: Let's see if I remember what I said.

I loved the first one, and I love this one! I really like how you had Hughes trying to hide his angsty-sadness. "You think of everyone but yourself" really describes him well, I think. A lot of fanfics and such seem to portray Hughes as an endlessly cheerful character, so I really liked this.

Also, I noticed that in Part I, the days are told fairly short, simple, and consise...much like how I imagine Roy would tell it. For Part II, the days are slightly longer, more descriptive, and have more dialogue. Like Hughes. Whether you intended for this or not, it gives it a good touch.

I really like fanfics that are sort of short, easy reads, and combine the cute fluffiness with a twinge of angst. You do it perfectly. I am bought. And then, of course, there's more Roy/Hughes raburabu, so that always gets additional love :3

Hughes is disgustingly chipper, but I think that's his ability to dissociate himself from the situation. I don't think he could have through a war without having some angst, even if he doesn't really show it.

The differences were definitely intentional. I wanted to differentiate between the different POVs.
