To the Joker, the silence was just another breather between events - an irritating, smothering breather, but nonetheless temporary. He hated it, though - it was so dull.

Breaking the silence by whistling an upbeat tune, he waltzed into the old lot, somewhere he'd been often enough to memorize it's location. He wondered, briefly, if Harvey would ever invite him here and set him up, but quickly cleared that thought. This newfound paranoia of his was terrible.

"Hello, Harvey."

Harvey glanced over, a similar thought passing his own mind. He dismissed it just as quickly- if the Joker wanted him out of the way then so be it. Harvey was hardly clinging on to life as it was. Besides he was sure the man would make a more public spectacle out of it. Never a dull moment.

"Enjoy your stay?" He asked dryly, even though he still felt the cautious urge as he watched the man nonchalantly.

"It was boring. Had a visitor, though - that was interesting. Did you miss me terribly, while I was gone?"

He wasn't intentionally giving Harvey a wide berth as he paced in a semi-circle around him; it was just defaulting for the timebeing. He didn't want to get caught again, and being inside a building so close to a police station wasn't all that reassuring. Not that he let any of that show; he still wore a elongated smile on his face, hands clasped behind his back loosely.

"Visitor?" Alright, Harvey would bite. The Batman? Possibly. Crane was probable too. The clown wouldn't mention it if the person weren't someone worth the mention, and the list of 'worthy' was small indeed.

"I was practically pining." Harvey shot back sarcastically. This was all too nostalgic, the way the man was moving, even the words, just like months ago when they had first met face to face. Harvey wondered what would have happened if he had never found this community, if things had moved forward naturally. In the end he couldn't bring himself to care.
