Surillo was a good woman, one of the few unbiased judges we had. When I asked her to hear the case I said things could get messy but it- [weak amusement] She said it would be nothing she hadn't seen before. Told me I was still wet behind the ears, to sit back and see how it was done.

[a pause for a few moments then in a low sigh] Rules huh.

Quoting George Washington 'Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder.'

Woman, in that case, but you catch my drift.

You always use voice post, can I ask what device you have to connect to the comm? You don't use a computer Harvey?

[solemnly] And here she's punished for it. [forcing some lightness into his tone] The best we can do is honor that kind of commitment, right?

[a pause of slight surprise at the observation before answering with slight amusement] I have a computer actually, I'm just- well, I've never been very comfortable with them. Give me a pen, paper or face to face any day of the week. Using this audio option is the next best thing I suppose.

[ooc; in case you're actually curious the voice thing is because the player prefers the flexibility of showing emotion, ect~]

Yes, we will.

Oh I see, I was just curious, blame the detective in me. I'm used to technology, and I'm quite good at hacking.

..and I really shouldn't say that to a lawyer, but If it helps, I was looking for information about the criminal organization I'm trying to arrest.

((ooc: Haku-chan is always curious abotu what device people use, azula's answer drove him crazy XD. And heh, that's awesome <3)

[laughing] Don't worry, you're not running around in keplar destroying public property for the greater good. A little hacking I can overlook even if I were in your world.

Any luck with that criminal organization?

[ooc; lol what was Azula's answer?]

Sounds more like subbornness, eh?

Oh, oh, right, right. My bad. How could I had forgotten that one now?

Stubbornness, determination - the same word with different connotations. I guess it depends on who writes history on which one you end up tagged with.

Well I'm sure you're a busy man Jack.

[Agreeing] Touche. Touche.

[Exicted and kid like] But probably not nearly like you be.

[Said under breath but still hearable, plotty] Hope, he doesn't mind if I use it...

The best we can do now is honor her death by continuing to fight. Better than backing down, right Marahi?

thedawniscoming January 4 2009, 05:26:59 UTC
Actually only about four hundred of the mob's members. Not the entire thing just yet but I'd say a good three fourths.
