[Meanwhile, outside the door, clearly labeled Harvey Dent, Gotham District Attorney, funny how those plain sight things would get one. Jack had spent awhile wandering the halls, invisble trying to find his office. Since one on was around, at the moment, the elf was cleary visible, and was doing something called, 'eavesdropping

He hadn't been particularly expecting the sudden chill - Jack's last visit hadn't lasted long enough in Gotham for him to attribute the cold to the other man. Harvey didn't let the surprise show on his face, for no other reason than instinct, and smiled in return. The man was certainly a... show, an act perhaps with a very strange undercurrent he wasn't sure anyone should trust. A lack of trust, that was hardly uncommon in these parts any way.
"Hard to be late without a set time." He answered, taking the hand (even colder now, he couldn't help but shiver just a touch but shook firmly none the less). "I think I prefer the door entrance - I'm not sure my nerves are quite up for the alternative." he answered as he sat back in his chair.
"A pleasure as well Jack - I suppose I should be thanking you for the trip, as startling as it was." he said with a hint of a smirk. "Do you terrorize the newcomers like that often or should I feel privileged?"

(Don't worry, we all have those days <3 and sorry for the edits ><)
Frost cocked his in his head to one side (and a pointy ear could be seen distinctly) not only lighting his eye gaze on Harvey but also, saying in a sense you have my undivided attention, as well as trying to figure the man out. Fiddling with his thumbs, Jack wondered if the man across from himself, suspected anything. After all, Jack did like to come off as trustworthy and he could be, given the chance.
"Now, this... This be true." Saying everything with a cute little smile. Stared at Harvey confused, during the handshake, smile disappearing and a more sullen look took its place and the icy eyes focused down on the hand. Jack did not understand why some people could stand that and other didn't. Then again, compared, Jack could register, Harvey's hand warmer then himself's. As the hands parted and Jack leaned back into position, his cute smile reappeared and chuckled a tad. "Well, 'uppose I'll stick to that for awhile, ehThere was a pause, "Ooooooohh.." Jack's

"Well can you blame them? Some worlds aren't so-" Harvey paused, unsure of how to finish that thought. "-so... magical you could say." he tried, wry in tone. "I'm more surprised at the amount who come and seem to have no problem believing these things." Then again he was talking to an elf of sorts with the ability to skip between dimensions. 'Normal' it seemed was up for interpretation on the network.
"Depends if we have seven more weeks of winter?" Harvey asked with the same wry intonation, smiling slightly as he glanced at the excess of papers the man was mentioning. "More like a filing cabinet or two." he commented, putting a misplaced file on it's appointed pile to the side as he spoke. "You'd be surprised how much bureaucracy goes into over 400 consecutive convictions." he said with a smirk. "I guess the North Pole doesn't have to worry about paperwork quite so much."
