Event: Flat Tire

"Stupid, piece of shit car!" Anders cries out loudly, kicking the side of his broken down car and yelping upon impact. The tire exploded on the way to the hospital, right in the middle of the road causing traffic to pile up. It wasn't his fault though. When he checked last night, his tires were perfectly fine! Anders couldn't believe this was

Nathaniel had pulled to the side of the road when he saw the other man start pushing his apparently dead car. Nate trotted up towards him and wrenched the passenger side door open, helping to push the car to the side.

Anders lets out a huff, placing his hands at his hips and smiling at the man. "Thanks," he says, a bit labored though. "I swear I checked those tires this morning. They were absolutely fine."

"No problem," Nathaniel smiles. "You must just be having a bad day." He crouches down to look at the flat tire--it looked as if the thing had practically exploded. "Were they cheap?"

[andersawake]

"Oh, it can get worse," Anders replies with a groan. "And yes, they were cheap. That's the last time I'm taking advice from anyone named Gamlen ever."

[quickandclever]

"Dude, you don't know how to put on the spare?" Darrian strolled over and crouched down to examine the damage, whistling low. "Shit, what'd you hit? This thing's shredded, there's no saving it. You're gonna have to buy a new one."

"No shit," Anders grunts. The car isn't getting any lighter either. "Not to be rude or anything but a little help would be great right about now."

Darrian resisted the urge to roll his eyes, and got up to help Anders shove the car out of the middle of the street. Good karma and all that. "You know, there are professionals you can call to do this," he remarked between grunts.

"Professionals," Anders grunts, "take time. And as much as I'd love to have them do this themselves, the traffic jam behind me doesn't."
