There really wasn't anything horribly exciting about Chinese takeout and bad chop sockey movies. Cain rolled his eyes, his gaze falling on the container of chow mein that sat on the coffee table as he weighed the pros and cons of dislodging Bee to obtain more food.

"I honest to God thought there might be a limit to what you could stomach." he half-joked, finally driven by hunger to shift and lean forward, reaching for the container. "What was I thinkin'?"

"Hey, nobody ever accused me of bein' smart." he pointed out with a snort of amusement, taking up his chopsticks to snag a bite of chow mein, then plucking out a noodle and feeding it to her with something resembling a smile. "Just like nobody ever accused you of havin' good taste in movies. I mean that in the best way possible, just so's ya know."
