WHY: Because Padma needs a study break.
Ever since the ball, it seemed the teachers thought it necessary to pile homework upon the students. Maybe it was because they all thought, "Hey. They had one night of fun. Now it's time for ONE THOUSAND HOURS OF MINDLESS HOMEWORK." That's how teachers thought in Padma's mind, at least. Finishing the last couple sentences of her Potions essay, the Ravenclaw sighed heavily as she shut the reference book.
