This time, I can actually respond first and explain why this is such a thing. Insisting on anything, even an opinion, is harsh. People want to see things in this light:

Your Crap Is Not My Crap And That's OK. YCINMCATOK You could pronounce this (Yeh ssin Mak at ok.) Have your opinion, be okay with it. Pronounce it if asked. Comment freely if you like. Just don't ever respond to a criticism of an opinion which was in the form of another damned opinion. More importantly, concentrate on the people and not so much the ideas. Being a man does not mean that you have to act that forcefully.

This is the same thing as the other thing. Just a different topic.
