Because when I saw her perform, there were four banjo players onstage playing in her ensemble of at least fifteen (Yes, I know about the Broken Social Scene "collective".) members.
That's four banjos too many. And the resulting cacophony still didn't drown out the precious twaddle that masquerades as lyrical content, nor her ridiculous singing voice.
If I want precious twaddle, I'll listen to Tori Amos instead. At least her first two CDs were decent.
The whole iPod thing totally turned me off. I hate when songs get overplayed because if they were a good song to begin with, they just get dragged on and on. Totally sucked because "Let It Die" was a great album. I don't care much for her anymore though, I guess.

As far as her songs go, I dig them, but only "1234" enough to get it. She seems like a really cool cat, though, I must admit.
