I hate love triangles. More accurately, I hate the poorly executed and overdone love triangles currently infecting the YA paranormal genre. For the pool of horrendous YA love triangles I add that of Wither, wherein teen protag Rhine must choose between a sweet but largely interest-free fellow victim of the social dystopia du jour, or the husband she was forced to marry and who, during the course of the novel, happily knocks up his other, 13-year-old wife.
