This was perfect. I think they needed this climaxal event to finally get things out in the open since Maintainence started. The ending was beautiful as it showed that no matter what sort of shit hit the fan, they still loved eavhother and will make it work.

So perfect... not only did it help me to really understand better what both Brian and Justin were feeling at this point in their relationship, it seems to have helped them as well. Probably the most honest and open conversation they'e ever had... and the absolute and complete love they share is so evident, and just beautiful!

thank you! these conversations are so hard to write -- that's why they take awhile. When you let a character lay their feelings bare, they tend to pull back in defense. It's like a tug-o-war to get the whole scene out.

Only you....

There is a very small group of writers who could take a failed experience at a sex dungeon, and turn it into one of the most romantic things I have ever read. Not only romantic, but conflicted, disturbing, enlightening, and loving. Brilliant!

It is truly amazing how deep and in-depth you allow Brian and Justin to go. Justin learned that his desire for Brian trumps everything, and Brian shared that his love for Justin knows no bounds. While that type of commitment might seem wonderful, it can also lead to misunderstandings and miscommunication. Justin already tested how far Brian is willing to go to make him happy.

I really do not know how you do it. Just when I think we have learned new insight into their relationship, you give us a new chapter that shows us so much more. The other thing that makes this story rise above the rest is that it is impossible for us to predict what will happen next. I feel like we are partners with Brian and Justin during their self-discovery.

Thank you for that feedback! It's really scary to go that deep with them; I often feel like we're underwater and my ability to hold onto them gets harder and harder. I always feel exhausted but exhilarated when we finally come up for air. lol.
