I think my mom has a copy of that same cookbook.

And now that we have milk-less french toast, is it possible to do eggless french toast? Cause I really like french toast, but half the time I can taste a bit of the egg mixture on it and that flavor just makes me a little sick. :(

that's an interesting book.

I posted 2 eggless recipes, they involve milk though. Hope it helps.

Yum!

I never use milk in my french toast, I do use vanilla and cinnamon usually. I do use milk for scrambled eggs, though.

really? I do the exact opposite, I almost never use milk for my scrambled eggs, but my scrambled eggs tend to look like the eggs in fried rice b/c i stir fry them.

I use milk in my scrambled eggs because I like them like fluffy little scrambled egg balls lol. They're yummy that way. I do them without milk if I run out, but I've always preferred milk in them.. When I was a kid, my uncle made me scrambled eggs, which I wouldn't touch cause they were FLAT - not the round fluffballs I was used to when my mom made them lol. Kids! ;)

You make an excellent point. Milk is expensive.
