This was stunning, Natasha, seriously, I think I might have had a little tear in my eye. The Doomsday to Pandora - to Salvation (to maybe Homecoming) arc is the best this show's ever done, ah, season 9. I really liked how in the first half you kept calling back to the pivotal "Clark Kent is dead" moment at the end of Doomsday, and then ending with the shot of his name plate. Just beautiful. Reminds me again why I love this show like burning. And why I'll be a useless mess when it's over.

I totally agree. Despite the plotholes in the storyline (the whole thing with Alia and her changing powerset) I still think the whole "Lois in the future/Clark Kent is dead" arc is one o the most powerful, emotionally satisfying arcs that the series has ever had. The show proved me wrong. There was a time when I didn't know if they could convince me that this Clark Kent was passionately and deeply in love with this Lois Lane in a way that would rival the greater Superman mythos and the passion that they share there. The bar was set high. The bar was set so high for this love story. And somehow....they did it. They met the bar and raised it. I will be forever grateful to the show for recognizing that they HAD to get the Lois/Clark relationship right and for giving it all they had to get it right. I have not loved the fact that Clark/Lois seems to have been pushed to the background in the second half of this season.....but it doesn't change how I feel about them or the show. And I have a sneaking suspicion that they are ( ... )

YAY thank you, BB! This song has been on my permanent Smallville/Clark Kent playlist for so long and I've been wanting to use it for a vid for forever, but this storyline seemed to fit more perfectly, and it's probably a good reason I waited for the right plot. You are so welcome. On my computer I have these vids under "themes" as a part of a series, so expect more.

How are you so epic and talented? Seriously, this vid was incredible. I loved the journey you took us on, and how you showcased the Doomsday-Pandora storyline. The song choice was great. Very fitting. Also, you matched the clips to the lyrics so perfectly. I was sitting and watching the vid was wide eyes, totally enthralled.

I really loved that you ended on their 'Metallo' reunion.

Fantastic job! :D

*blushes* Thanks. About that Metallo ending, I almost didn't use it because I had an alternate ending that would've been all Groundhog Day-ish, but I decided to go for a happy ending instead. Good thing I went with this ending, huh? I'm glad you liked it.

i thought this was great, and when you take out all the other bits and just focus on clark and lois like this it, comes across so much more powerful.

I tend to like focussing more on Clark and or Lois because to be perfectly honest, their stories intrigue me the most. I always gravitate towards the least morally questionable heroes of stories (it's why Will Turner was my favorite in all the Pirates movies). I'm just more emotionally attached to them and it was their plight that I think had the most impact on the world and so I wanted to focus on it. Thanks so much for watching :D

I know i'm the same way, it was Will and Elizabeth for me too.

The good guys are alway more intersting to me, I admit I love Kal and I used to love Angelus on Angel and Buffy but only in small doses, I want to see the stuggle to be good and the good win!

On Smallville they have always been good at showing why the morally questionable people do what they do, but not showing why Clark does what he does. How many times did we see flashbacks to show why Lex was how he was, but we never got any of Clark as a little boy, learning from the Kent's.

I always wanted to see, Clark learned to control his strength as a little boy and get used to his speed when he was 8, but we never got those flashbacks..

Yes, this. There's actually a quote in Superman: Ending Battle that perfectly explains why Superman is my favorite. It's about how he does have the urge to kill sometimes, but it would undo everything he and Lois lived for. I loves that because I hate the claim that Superman is boring, everything comes easy to him, blah blah blah. Um no, Superman, for me, is one of the most fascinating characters especially when in the hands of the writers that GET him and the struggles he faces just by virtue of genetics.
