I completely forgot to post this.

Methinks that the end of War of the Supermen looks suspiciously similar to Smallville 9.22 Salvation. And, dare I say, Smallville did it better. o.O

I haven't caught up with the comics, although I spoilered myself silly. From what I hear though, you have it right on the nose. Also, apparently, the comics don't even go into Clar's feelings about the effect of this genocide on Clark. Y'know, the guy who's been STARVING for family since the histoyr of ever?
