I liked him a lot from the get go, the first time I saw him when he spoke at the 2004 Democratic convention.
It's interesting how varied his background is.
One thing I really like about him is how aware of the history of the Presidency he is.
He mentioned a book by Presidential Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin on Lincoln's cabinet, "Team of Rivals," a good book for someone running for President. He said "It's a remarkable study in leadership."

He's learning lessons from history, so not only is he really cool for collecting comics and reading HP, but he's no slouch in the brains dept either.
I'm hopeful he'll be able to turn this country's economy around, even though he's really got his work cut out for him.
I'm so glad we elected him so decisively...
