I'm not happy about Lily Collins being Clary. I don't dislike her but there had to have been someone better for the role.

And I still hate the idea of there being a movie but everyone knows Hollywood can't be original anymore so there's no hope for the books that don't deserve to be ruined.

Which is going to happen because fans have such high hopes for the movie and then when they see it, their hopes are destroyed. I'd be okay with the movie idea if the producers took their time with it and not rushed it like they did with casting Lily and now deciding to film in April. Good movies take time.
