If it's okay with you, I'd like to tell you (briefly) about two comics I read today.
Neither of these are (brand) new comics, so this isn't really a review, but they are two comics I read today.. so there.

If there was a need to go into further detail or a demand for me to do so, I'd be happy to, but I don't think either is the case so why drag it out?

I am kind of curious about how The Atom sucked. Is Simone still the author? I read the first story arc while Simone and Byrne were on it and liked it a lot.

I also wouldn't mind knowing what Fearless is, but am less curious as I know myself, and I pick up so few non-DC titles, even when I know they are way better than half the DC titles I buy. I'm a fanboy. I admit it.

Well, okay.
Let's see. Yes, Gail Simone is still writing the book. I should also say that I generally really like her writing.
I don't know what to say without having the issue in front of me, but it was terribly written.
I'd go as far as to say insultingly bad.
Also, it's important for me to note that I want to love this Atom book.
It hurts me when it's terrible.
If necessary, I'll post some scans.

Fearless is about a guy who has crippling anxiety (and has had it since he was a child) who takes an inhalable drug that makes him fearless. He's very wealthy and has created a high-tech suit that he uses to fight crime as "Fear". It's kinda like a cross between Batman, Daredevil, Iron Man, and ... someone who's terrified of what he's doing without his dope.
I don't know if I'm doing it justice, but the art was great, the writing was pretty sharp, and the concept (as well as it's execution) was interesting.
