I know a lot of us are sad right now about the end of Merlin but what makes me even sadder is that I am getting the feeling that many are planning on leaving the Merlin fandom once the series ends. I love you guys and I feel like we're a family.

We haven't interacted much, although I've followed your work for a long time. You're kindof a hero to me. I'll continue following you as long as you're willing to have me - maybe it will be an opportunity to talk more.

I only JUST got online and read the news, so you're the first comment I've made. I knew it was coming, and I knew it really was time for it, but I'm still typing through tears.

I'm generally numb about it the final season but I'm positively in denial about the fandom breaking down. I'm so attached to the fandom. *clings*

We'll be like 80 and still in Merlin fandom going "Remember when Merlin fed Arthur rat stew?" And then we'll talk about Arthur's obliviousness and Merlin's sexy dragon voice and Morgana's evil smirk and Gwen's enhanced cleavage and how much we loved Leon's BAMFness and how much we loved when Gwaine and Percival took their tunics off and...

I feel like I really just got started participating in this fandom, so to have it end now really saddens me. I know things will slow down and that really sucks. But I don't think it'll ever die completely. People still write Buffy fic and that show's been gone for years. I plan on being the barnacle on the butt of this fandom, clinging forever. :)
