Hello,
It would be easier if you follow the charecters instead ie stephen or bloom. Like if its stephen after 123 you jump to 9. Regardless of your choice, delay wandering rocks and circe as much as possible. As they say Its the process, not the project; enjoy(we did)

And no need for the bloody.

An excellent exposition of the book's structure and the underlying myths can be found in "The Book as World: James Joyce's Ulysses" by Marilyn French. "Ulysses on the Liffey" by Richard Ellman, who has written the best biography of Joyce, is learned. For witty goodness, there's "Here Comes Everybody" by Anthony Burgess, covering the whole oeuvre, including "Ulysses"
