curia_regis, who wanted a "Day After Tomorrow" crossover. I'm still not sure if I am wanting to do something for an actual story and thought that I could at least give it a try with a few drabbles. I hope this works out okay!
Summary: A series of weather anomalies threatens to destroy the ARC team but Helen arrives with a plan to save their lives.
#1: The Kill Comes From Above
Black clouds roved the skyscrapers of London. People bustled quickly from one building to the next, fearful that the windy weather would give way to a downpour. At once, pea-sized hail began to fall and one struck Connor on the back of his neck.
“Let’s get back to the ARC,” said Danny with a light smile at Connor’s misfortune. “I have a feeling it will get nastier.”
“You’re telling me,” Connor replied as he nursed his neck.
No sooner had he said that when a shrill scream was heard from across the street. Car alarms began to blare as golf-ball-sized hail pelted the ground. Steadily the hail grew in diameter and soon car windows shattered completely.
“Quick! Inside that building!” As Danny shoved Connor into the safety of a storefront cement overhang, a chunk of ice ricocheted from a nearby car and knocked Danny unconscious.
Without hesitation Connor was at his side, pulling him to safety. Around him people were frantically seeking shelter but many were unsuccessful. As Connor collapsed against the door, Danny still lifeless in his arms, he saw a man from across the street take a direct hit from a piece of hail that was just shy of a football. There was no scream, no cry of pain; just death.
Connor slid down the door and held Danny tightly.
London, once filled with the sound of traffic was now turned into a kill zone where the opposition was unleashing its deadly arsenal upon the unprotected populace. People were being pulverized to death and their screams were silenced by the increasing volume of ice. Windows shattered and signs crashed to the ground. Before him on the street the cars crumpled under the force.
Connor could scarcely breathe as he watched his beloved city being ravished by Mother Nature.

#2: Are We Going to Die?
“This cannot be our future,” Connor whispered in quiet lament. He looked across the room to catch Nick’s expression but his leader was staring into the frozen London wasteland. Trying to hold back his grief, Connor asked, “Do you think Abby and the others survived?”
“Knowing Becker, they’re fine,” Nick replied firmly as he took his gaze back to Connor. The fire was still burning. When temperatures dropped below negative ninety five degrees it had kept them alive. For now, it was the only comfort that Nick Cutter had left.
“Cutter,” Connor asked slowly. “We’re going to die, aren’t we?”

#3: Leaving, Forever
“Help isn’t coming Cutter!” Connor exclaimed as he stood next to Helen. “Look around you, London is buried under ice! If we stay here we’re going to die!”
“Connor’s right,” said Danny. “We’ll be able to find our way back home eventually. Helen has done it before.”
Helen beamed proudly at his words. To Nick, Helen asked, “So are you coming?”
There was no other choice. Nick watched as his team followed Helen into the anomaly. Pausing for a moment, Nick took in the city one last time before disappearing into the Late Tertiary epoch. All that remained was ice.
