So here's my story. I had LJ about 10 years ago, when I was 18.... and got rid of it about 2 years later, when it became just a place that people created drama. Thus, a few months ago, when I found this fandom, and this community.. I was so afraid to come back into LJ cause it was such a problem way back when. (gods, i feel old)

Done the whole military thing, although my hubs is long retired now. Can't say for sure if it will get better or not, it really is such a personal thing. All I can do is offer all the support I can. We're still going through issues from over 10 years ago ourselves. One day at a time :)

I agree; the community here is fantastic.

I came into the fandom and the community just before getting out of a five year relationship...not fun, but all of you lovely people have made it much easier to deal with (even if none of you realized you were doing it!). One thing's for certain; you all reminded me that there was something else I could do that was wholly separate from my ex, something I was passably decent at. So I completely understand.

This is a great bunch of people. You're a big part of that, so don't you dare forget it! You don't need to thank me, but you're welcome, anyway. Like I said, always here. :) And lots of coffee and hugs back to you from me, of course!
