A/N: Written for tw100 . It started out trying to be a a bit of fluff. See how that turned out... I attempted to write things four different times tonight, and every single one of them ended up having something to do with Day 4. I'm not sure if this means something of if I'm just nuts. Either way.

Day 1225
Jack sighed into Ianto’s shoulder. He could spend eternity like this… The inherent problem with the situation was that Ianto could not.
“Now who’s thinking too loud?” Ianto’s soft tones floated gracefully to his ear.
In the darkness, where the real world was just a dream and dreams became reality, Jack Harkness dared to wish for this moment to last forever. In the dark of night, anything could happen.
Approximately six months later, reality turned nightmare as his dreams shattered on the floor next to the dying lover in his arms. By the light of day, all dreams fade away.

And the title actually comes from Day One, not those other days. I'm hoping that my symbolism isn't too horridly opaque. lol.
