LOL, writing a bit of "The Taste of Decay is Bittersweet" AND I JUST REALIZED HOW MUCH INNUENDO WAS IN ONE PART. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. *laughs; curls up; dies*

or maybe my mind is just dirtier when I'm tired )

*awkward high five* Though, granted, it seems more like the kind of innuendo we read in AP English lit where everyone gets really red and quiet the way adolescents do when presented with sex in the presence of an adult, but it's not direct enough for anyone to say anything. You know, just enough to make everyone think it's only in their own dirty minds. (Because then the reader is the perv and not the writer.) I almost want you cut the last line so that the thing will be completely platonic at the surface but ragingly homoerotic in the subtext.

But...the last line is also so wonderful that I don't want you to do that...

FFFFFT your comment makes me feel less like a dirty old man and more like a plain old dirty fangirl <3 lol

YOU KNOW WHAT.
Someone should write a D18 fic that is SO INTENSELY RAGINGLY HOMOEROTIC IN SUBTEXT IT WILL MAKE PEOPLE SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST NEAR THE END BECAUSE THEY CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. But it must be tasteful and not corny cause then it'd be a TRUE CHALLENGE. *A*

Haha man what I'd give to read something like that.
Mindnumbing-drool-enducing subtext > explicit "he-touched-this,-then-he-touched-that" porn.

LOL. But, see, even Shakespeare was pretty dirty sometimes (and don't even get me started on Chaucer--he wasn't even subtle most of the time!), so it's okay as long as you write it well. XDD

SOMEONE TOTALLY SHOULD. It would definitely be a challenge, but it would be so AMAZING if someone could actually pull it off. And I feel like D18 is a perfect pairing for something like that, too. Oooooh man.

itawtc. If you find/write something like that, promise you'll share it, please!

*goes back to re-read first part* AHAHAHAHA... Innuendo goes over my head like a bird. Let us hope no one ever tries to flirt with me. ♥

I like where this is going. Hibari's all contemplative and confused, I think. You do wonderful things with him. I like how you take his and Dino's extreme/jokey qualities from the manga (the biting, the clumsiness, etc...) and make them into something subtler and more real.

And the description of the vineyard made me pine for summer again.

Haha yeaaaah, I've always thought that Hibari would always be a little puzzled at Dino's self restraint. His mindset being "The strong can do whatever they please simply because they have the power of force. Only weaklings deny themselves because they do not have the power or will to do it." Course Dino's holding back for an entirely different reason which Hibari unconsciously picks up on. Scorn becomes impatience which becomes frustration then the inevitable blow up. *u*

And subtleties aaaaaah I wish there was more of it in fanfic. It is so alluring. Haha I pine for wine. Haven't had any alcohol in a looong long while ;_;

*is now pining for the inevitable blow up* *_*

Haven't had wine in ages. But have been enjoying this lovely local brown ale sold in the most hideously ugly cans ever used as a vessel for something fermented. :D

<333 There's so much subtlety here (LOL @ the fellatio double entendre) and with it comes so much tension--they're both trying to keep the other guessing, and it's very amusing. <3 And the last line, guuuuh. ;__; So true.
