I actually used the "Because I say so" line earlier today with the Youngling. Not one of my prouder parental moments, but there's only so much justification I can give for why he has to pick up his room before it segues into "Because I say so

I suspect that every parent has hit that 'because I told you so' at some point. Sometimes it's the only thing you're left to say.
