part two

The game is a slow one. They are evenly matched, and the snitch is nowhere in sight. Junhong's scored a few goals but Youngjae's scored a few goals, too, and the game keeps building like this. Daehyun dove once, prompting a collective gasp and cheer in the crowd, but it turned out to be a feint.

It's not that Junhong finds quidditch boring. He loves quidditch. He just gets so entrenched in it -- entranced -- that he can't be sure exactly what happened after the fact when asked. So it's no surprise, really, when he's making a rather routine play, passing the ball to another chaser on their team, when there's a blur and suddenly there's Daehyun, arm outstretched and fingers grasping for something.

It happens so quickly.

Daehyun's hand closes around the snitch and ends the game.

Jongup bats the bludger toward him, a moment too late to distract.

Daehyun and Junhong are side-by-side and Daehyun must see it coming -- he must. But he doesn't move and then there's a crash

captain yongguk is hilarious being all determined but faltering at the last minute with hana xD protective bff youngjae awww and for some reason I can see dae saying "Oh," Daehyun says weakly. "Another fan!" with :D (although maybe milder since he is injured after all, but.) and junhong getting flustered, and then inviting dae for a date! <33
