The commercial shows these guys debating what kind of food to send over to a woman at the breakfast buffet line as a way of saying hi. Ultimately a guy sends over some bacon, and she replies by holding up a cup of yogurt.
I was just so annoyed to think that FINALLY we were getting a commercial where it's acknowledged that women eat something other than diet food, and nope. It's the same thing as always.
If they just wanted to make it clear she was turning them down for being vaguely creepy dudes, they should have reversed it - them sending her yogurt, her turning it down because she's eating bacon.
Or alternately, they could have sent her bacon and then she, as a message about their size, could have sent them yogurt.
I've certainly appreciated it over the last few weeks. There're a bunch of them (most recent is Chick Flicks), but I'm starting to wish she had her own show, instead of just the three-minute segment.
Man, i noticed that too. I thought the 'send her breakfast' like sending a drink in a bar was a cute idea, then they had to shove *yogurt* in my face. WTF ever, Holiday Inn. Gah.
Do you know how much sugar is in yogurt? Unless you get the ultra carb control it's-so-small-it's-questionable-that-it-exists yogart, you're shit out of luck if you're diabetic or just don't like 30 grams of sugar in a neutron ball dense container.
I'm actually all for alternatives for breakfast at these motels, because I have a ton of diet restrictions and I can never find food to eat unless I pack my own meal. I'm actually more surprised they had a full blown breakfast bar with more choices than bagels, little packets of cream cheese and Maxwell House instant coffee, which was my last experience at a Holiday Inn Express.
Does anyone stop at a Holiday Inn Express out of choice? I've always stopped at them (or insert random motel here) because I'm tired and it's there. I can't say their breakfast bar was ever the real clincher.

You can find the other episodes here: http://current.com/search/search.do?indexName=en_us&renderer=jsp&q=sarah+haskins&x=0&y=0 . I linked to YouTube the first time because the original site is so poorly organized, but I think the page views might help her out.
Who's on first? Yogurt is!

Do you know if there's a way to get an RSS feed for updates? That site confuses and frightens me.
