Some people had schedules, routines to their day, that they rarely deviated from. Wake up in the morning, have coffee, take a walk, take a shower. Or take a shower in the evening, read a bit and fall asleep. There were portions of the day set aside for specific things. Rory for example liked to have discussions in the evening and make decisions in ( Read more... )

Amy was not the sort of girl who was good with a time table. It didn't mean that she couldn't work with them when she absolutely had to, but she preferred to have more than a little bit of flexibility in her life. Here that was easy. Even the odd jobs she had gave her a fair amount of flexibility, which was more than fine by her.

Swooping into the house, she dropped the knapsack that she had brought back with her on the floor. Its contents were promptly forgotten, a smile spread across her face as she moved across the room. Wrapping her arms about Rory's shoulders, she was fairy intent on doing one very special sort of thing. "Miss me?" she asked before pressing a kiss to his lips.

"Oh," Rory managed to murmur. He had been so caught up in his own thoughts that even the sound of the door opening and closing had only barely registered in his mind before he found himself in the middle of a kiss. But anything he had been about to say at that point was unimportant, obviously. He could get back to it.

He kissed Amy hello properly, his own arms finding their way around her waist. It took a full minute before he even thought of pulling away. They had each only been out and about doing their daily activities, but he had missed her. "A bit," is what he said out loud though, playing it a bit more cool despite how he held her. "Good day?"

"Mmmhmmm," she nodded slightly, a quirked smile on her face as she went in for another kiss. When Rory pulled away the smile faded slightly, confusion plain on her face. Her day had been alright, a bit boring really but not something worth getting bent out of shape about it.

"Same as always. Still think I might go out for the building crew." That might turn out to be a lot easier said than done, but Amy was certain that it wouldn't be boring. This was a bit off though and she wasn't entirely certain if it it was him or her. Mostly like it wasn't her. At least she didn't think it was. "Something wrong? You're acting a bit funny."

"I'm staying far away if anyone hands you a hammer," Rory joked half-heartedly, though the sentiment was true. Amy had a tendency to move with a whirlwind around her. Driving, construction... He was wary of what might happen, for all that he loved Amy.

But he frowned at Amy's question, immediately trying to play it off, which of course made him a bit funnier. "I'm not. Nothing's wrong. There's something- Nothing wrong, just something- that I wanted to talk to you about but I wanted to see how you were. You know, talk a bit. No need to rush it."
