I like that Clay has found a new toy in Portland, but he hasn't forgotten the things Josh taught him ;)

Josh's lessons are never forgotten. ;-)

And sometimes good things happen when you least expect them, right? :-)

Hell, anything Josh decided to teach me, I don't think I could forget it :D

for someone i don't find at all physically attractive, your clay is ridiculously sexy. i'm glad the boy knows how to make friends up there in the north woods ;)

Yeah, ridiculously sexy is a good way to put it, I think. ;-) Glad you like it!

I like that Clay is not too lonely in Portland but still misses Boston.

Very well done. And hot. And the ending was kinda sweet. Hot + Sweet = ♥

Thanks so much! The whole little fic sorta (kinda sorta?) came a bit out of left field, so to speak. I guess I just couldn't bear the thought of poor Clay all alone in Portland. ;-)

Hee. That picture was too great not to make an icon of. ;-)

And now it's given me plot bunnies.

i'm sure this'll be no surprise, but my favorite bit was clay's melancholy-due-to-moonlight. eep. (we're right back to my favorite jacoby-fic moment of all time; my leash grows shorter and shorter every day.)

wagner is fun here. i love how clay's kind of trying to protect him, but wagner can handle everything clay throws at him and more. the kiss at the end - totally sweet and totally great - man, i love that unexpected intimacy. i love that these guys make it easy to have a kiss be more intimate than a blowjob. you spun that so well.

good to see clay in such good hands, even away from boston.

Funny how Mark just leaped into my mind as such a strong, quirky character just off the bat like that. He IS fun, funny but concerned and ultimately generous and caring. And thanks for noting the "spin," that really wrote itself.

I have a feeling that for the rest of his life, moonlight will make Clay melancholy. :-(
