THIS. This was beautiful. You were able to capture their personalites so well-- especially Carlos, and that sort of unpredictability he's got going. And I love James' voice here. There's so much raw love. The summary quote is probably my favorite line.

I think it's easier to capture Carlos' character from James' perspective, from James' voice, because James really sees Carlos in a way that I don't think a lot of people see him (in the same way that Carlos sees James the way most people can't, not just as the pretty boy, or the ridiculous one, but as James).

And you know, I was really kind of surprised by this fic, because when I started writing I was thinking of them the way the show shows them, as silly boys who have dinosaur fights and go down the swirly slide a million times, and in a way that is them. But in a lot of other ways, their love is so deep and real and sincere, and boys. It kind of surprised me that I had so many thoughts about them, haha.

And then Carlos was pulling away, sliding down James until his mouth was right next to James' hip, and fuck he caught James' zipper in his fucking teeth and was inching it down, and there was so much, so much feeling when Carlos' breath was right there and Carlos' fingers were tight pressed against his hips, and all of it was so good that James could hardly even stand it.

So hot, and so cute, and somehow, everything was perfect!!
