Yes!! Finally finished my second composition for the competition. The lyrics are about generally coming out, it's a little bit more metaphorical than the first. Actually I'm thinking I might not use Not All You Wanted. It didn't turn out that well when I was playing my guitar along with the music. When I tried to mix and arrange, turned out rather

Yeah, they sound cool <3 I like the Glockenspiel better though, tone wise. Much more ethreal sounding. The vibraphone's okay, just not feeling the vibration part, lol. :P I was playing around with them, and I was like, wow, we should so use these in a composition, so I did, and composed something out em ^_^

Wow, I really like the lyrics for this song! I wish that I could hear the music for it....My favorite part is:

aww, thanks :) More than a few times, I had to revise the lyrics til sounded okay, lol. Sometimes it didn't fit in and didn't write in the the first time. I might post it on lj, if I think the final product's not that bad :P lol.

You actually do the composition and write the lyrics too, wow, you are quite a talent. How long did it take you to come up with the lyrics?

Hehe, thanks, nah, not really, I'm still pretty mediocore. Yeah, I write the lyrics, can compose music and I'm able to play a handful of instruments. I prefer string instruments more though, like the electric, bass or acoustic guitar or the violin. The piano too, I like the piano. I can convey more emotions from them, pretty much because those are the instruments I have more practice in, lol. Actually you can do that with almost all instruments, depends on you skill level. How long it takes to write the lyrics depends on how deep the topic is. These lyrics took me about an hour to write. I wrote the lyrics while I was composing, makes it easier to match things up. Sometimes I write them part by part as things pop out of my head. So sometimes, I'll get an idea while I'm...maybe swimming or driving, and I'll be like 'man I gotta write this,' and I do, cause I tend to forget these type of things rather quickly, lol.
