i'm not usually into het but i love tori/beck fics (because honestly who doesn't) and this was so sweet in a sad melancholy way, and the way you used the word "sad" instead of depressed or whatever, it's really subtle and powerful at the same time. this whole piece had a really nice feel to it, it moved very fluidly and all the action was very comfortable, sort of makes me wanna get onto a train too. i really loved it, you're such a talented writer emma :)
