Their last mission had been a hard one, but everyone came home in one piece. Tom sat at home with their son while Katie got some rest. She had been tired, and he liked taking care of her. So he took the kid while she slept, he knew she'd do the same for him.

He put Matthew to bed, and slipped into bed beside her, and drew her close.

He, as always let her just clutch onto him. He covered them up, and rested with her a bit.
