* there's nothing that gets you out of bed faster than two drunk people trying to climb into your bed while you're still asleep in it. fuck.

it just hit me how much i've got to be grateful for. i would be so homesick if it weren't for the people here!

so i found out a little while back that my re-entry permit won't be valid by the time i come home in november. so i need to apply for my hanz 18+ card because that's the only id they accept anywhere that isn't a passport because i'd might as well renew my passport now (which requires sending it off for a few weeks) so i can get my new re-entry ( Read more... )

we blew off studying yesterday (and the ministry of sound trance party) to go to piha yesterday - it's about an hour west of auckland, right on the coast. the drive there is beautiful but nothing compared to the place itself: it was like standing on the edge of the world and watching it drop off into the sea.
