I do hope they'll spend some time on Cas's feelings about God appearing and disappearing when the new season starts.

You know, I think that as poor a father as John Winchester was, Chuck outdid him. Just watching Cas's face get as his faith gets ground down, weathered away each time as he prays for help and gets no answer, and then finally has to accept that God doesn't care. (made worse by us knowing now that he was there all the time and just chose to ignore his child's pain).
