Peaceful Anxiety
What do you do when you are faced with a problem that you cannot solve?
It is amazing how God speaks to me through His word. If you recall, the mozzie bites turned out to be sandfly bites and this time round, i wasn't the only one suffering from it. Whoever went to the kite flying sesh brought back little bites home. Because i have sensitive skin, blisters form, and it got worrying when it didn't get any better even after the trip to the doctor. I suspect it got infected. I have to admit, i'm worried. I don't know what is happening and who likes bad skin, anyway? I keep complaining about it, and the more i do so, the more depressed i felt.
This morning, while i was doing my quiet time, i read a passage from the daily bread. The title says, "Peaceful Anxiety". How can that be, I asked. The passage talks about a pastor, who was faced with a problem, and when his colleagues asked how he feel about it, he replied, I'm anxious because of the problem i'm facing, yet, i'm peaceful because i know there's nothing i can do about it and it is all in God's hands.
Well, i know i'll be well taken care of, in God's hands. (:
