Gambit & My Woes

Alright, as some of you may know by now... I am a huge Gambit fan. He is, with little doubt, my favorite Marvel character. Beside him is Nightcrawler, Wolverine and then Deadpool. As some of you may also know, I hate the X-Men movies (if we are addressing the wild fangirl inside of me, that is); however, I absolutely adored Hugh Jackman's Wolverine ( Read more... )

nightcrawler, deadpool, gambit, wolverine, x-men

I like Gambit, too! :O But I never really read the comics or anything so anything I know of him just comes from my brothers knowledge hahaha I'm kinda bummed the actor playing him in the movie isn't better looking :\\

Oh I like the movies, but that's probably because I don't read the actual comic lmao *retarded*

I think the actor playing as him looks okay for a young Gambit (a Gambit younger than twenty-five, anyway). Gambit is a big fellow at 6'1'' with a very toned and muscled body, but I could over look his build if he really is a young Gambit. Otherwise, the movie is a waste of my time. XP

So many things were wrong in the movie. For instance, Professor Xavier and Cyclops die? WTF is that crap? O.o Jean Grey obliterates herself? Storm isn't African (at least, doesn't have an accent)? And WTH is Rogue the young runaway? Where is Jubilee? WHERE WAS MY GAMBIT? XDD I could go on, but it's not the point. XD

Im not a big fan of comics
but I have read some
& thats one thing that meke me angry
is that when they do the movies
in real life they dont make the "human" the same as the character
for example the new Dragon ball movie
bulma has black hair???
when in the anime she has blue hair >___<
grrr that really pisses me off

I can understand making Bulma's hair black if the movie was on a low budget. I mean, if they don't have the money to make her hair look real (instead of using a crapy blue wig or bleaching than dying her hair which could seriously damage it - afterall, not everyone's hair is made for bleaching) then they shouoldn't even attempt it.

But because X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a movie that contains some of the most loved characters to ever exist in American popculture... I'm befuddled that they are still doing a crappy job.
