Today, in Seattle

So I got into Seattle yesterday. Nice city, and good weather.

Spent several hours after breakfast at the Experience Music Project. There were a couple superbly curated exhibits on Jimi Hendrix & Nirvana which made me realize that I need to listen to more music.

It's Seattle. I think they can manage getting Radio One and Two there, even without the Net.

FYI, here's the frequencies:

CBC Radio Two 105.7 FM (CBU-FM)

CBC Radio One 690 AM, 88.1 FM (CBU)

You can get the CBC here if you try hard. But you should check out NPR 91.5 for news and information or KEXP for music.

Seattle is a sleepy village and everything closes early.

And NPR has US rights for some of CBC's programming if I remember correctly...?

Yep. As It Happens is an evening feature on one of our two NPR stations.
I also still keep up with The Vinyl Cafe every Sunday.

And Public Radio International's got Q. Not sure about The Current at the moment.
