I do not have a Hamilton icon. Mea Culpa.

Anyone know why the Hamilton filmed & set Woody Harrelson vehicle Defendor isn't showing anywhere in Hamilton?

That's just odd, right. I know it isn't getting wide distribution, but you'd think they'd, I dunno, do something. I'm sure the Hammer is all about the local cinema, right?

canada, superhero cinema, cinema

I'd call it "Wrong". You film the movie there, you should show the movie there.

Hmm, now I want to see it and place-find (as in, see how many locations I can recognize by sight)!

The story doesn't sound bad either.

Maybe they'll show it at the Hamilton Film Festival? The Staircase is the only theatre that shows independent stuff. The Westdale theatre tends to keep with international art stuff that did well (I saw Chicago with my wife there) and the one up on Concession shows older year old releases for cheap. Maybe I'm missing a place but I don't think there's a venue for it. I love Canadian film but I've watched virtually all of it on DVD (and mostly thanks to Bay St. Video).
