Marvel has yet to offer any guarantees that the films will not molest the audience, sexually or otherwise.

Wait, now you've got me confused - I thought with comic adaptations sexually abusing the audience was a feature not a bug? Or is that only for DC?

I guess it's just a difference of opinions between the filmmakers and the audience.

I'm sorry - I was going to write something about the reviews saying 'no' but the box office saying 'yes' or something but really this is all getting kind of gross. I'm going back to _Slings and Arrows_

The story I saw had this line: The First Avenger: Captain America was moved back to July 22, 2011 from May 6, 2011. So, a little slippage, but still out. Probably better to give some time for the movies before heading into Avengers.

I guess this will allow them to not kill the actor playing Steve Rogers.

You know, I'm having a dopey Friday and originally read "with Scarlett Johansson starring as the Black Widow" as "with Sue Johanson starring as the Black Widow".

Although if they were writing them according to canon (i.e. Non "Marvel time"), that would be appropriate.

Oh, wow. My brain just ran out my ears.

Well, Mickey Rourke is apparently going to be the baddie in Iron Man 2... Isn't that enough of a molestation in itself?

I can only imagine what kind of face puke Spiderman 4 will be.

I hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

I did that last time... it didn't work :(

The only way I can see it not suck is if they have Bruce Campbell as Mysterio, and maybe have Spider-slayers or have the storyline where Spidey continues to mutate and grows two more arms and begins to look like something out of a horror movie.
