So it's Rex Manning Day and my friendslist is full of cut tags. Which I will. not. click. on. I won't! I won't spoil myself! But I haven't found anywhere to dl from yet, either.

So to distract myself from tempting cut tags, I made Rex Manning Day icons.

No worries, it's a running joke started by sinden in a friendslocked post. In 'Empire Records' Rex Manning is an over-the-hill popstar who still has devoted fans, despite the fact that he's an egotistical sleaze. In one of the several times that movie breaks the fourth wall, Mark says earnestly: "But we mustn't fight. Not today. Not on Rex Manning day!" Then few weeks ago Sin paraphrased the quote, including "not on Rex Manning Supernatural Day". So Wednesdays have now become Rex Manning Day, since that's when we get Supernatural. For me and i_naid 'it's Rex Manning day' kind of means 'so tonight we haunt LJ waiting for a hook-up then we'll park ourselves on the couch and squee like it's going out of style'.

I didn't say it was agood joke. *g* But we're entertained and I'm prevented from spoiling myself, so it's all good. (Thank you, it's hard to resist.)

Ok. I understood about half of that. Sometimes I regret not being more fannish to participate and enjoy these sorts of jokes. Oh well.

Supernatural is on Monday... I'm guessing you download them and that's when they're available; Wednesday.
