The first comparison post created a discussion. I thought another one featuring John and Sean might create a discussion as well. Do you think those Lennon genes are strong in Sean?

The older he gets, the more Yoko comes through. His eyes are definitely Yoko's....and his face is flat and round like hers.

I think Julian is the better Lennon, he resembles the older John more. Though he, too, shows a lot of mother genes the older he gets.

It's interesting. How you can start off looking more like one parent, and then over time come to look more like another parent. I think when Sean smiles that he looks more like John in those moments.

I think Sean looked a lot like John in the second picture...where he smiled.

It happens all the time. My daughter looked a lot like my husband and female member of my husband's family when she was toddler and a young teen. Now she is 16 and looks more and more like me....

It would be more interesting what else the two boys inherited from their father. Taste, ticks, likes....

It's my favorite comparison photo in this thread the smiling one because I really see a likeness then.

It would be interesting to see what else the Lennon lads inherited from John through video and sound bites. If you ever want to put that together and post it here feel free to do so. A combination of visual and auditory would be fantastic.

Nope, his eye color especially is nowhere near John's lighter/dark outline thing, which shows up even in b/w photos.

He didn't get the awesome Lennon nose, either, which I thought may show better as he got older... but didn't. (middleweight John nose is the best... too sharp when he was too skinny)

He didn't get the fantastic mess eyebrows. John's eyebrows were a delightful MESS. (but over grooming is a possibility)

So, yeah, he looks like John's son... at first glance, but if you scuttle the glasses, facial hair, and other things he does to mimic John, the comparables begin to be obvious.

I think the second comparison is my favorite one because I think it's one of the few times when Sean really looks like John to me. Bonus, that he is clean shaven and his hair is groomed.

So, yeah, he looks like John's son... at first glance, but if you scuttle the glasses, facial hair, and other things he does to mimic John, the comparables begin to be obvious.

Usually, I tend to think that when his hair is short and he doesn't have facial hair that he doesn't look much like his father. Only when he adopts the long hair, beard, and circular glasses do I see more of John there.
